Our next themed prayer meeting will be Sunday evening, July 12th, starting at 7 PM. We will target in on two targets: God's provision during this economic hard time, and the healing and wholeness in Christ of families. If you have needs in either area, please come to this meeting. You will not only receive prayer for these areas but will also learn how to pray with confidence and effectiveness. All invited--VCF members, regular attenders, and invited guests.
Those newly trained in prophetic ministry and veterans in this ministry are invited to our next prophetic team training meeting on Monday evening, July 6th from 7-9 PM. Childcare is available if needed and the office is notified a week before the meeting so we can be sitters. At this meeting we'll share together what God has been doing with us prophetically plus have a time of learning and continue to practice our gifts in small group settings. This meeting is open to those who are members, regular attenders, or guests of VCF members. Please sign up to attend this meeting as sign-up sheets are circulated on Sunday mornings.
Intercessory prayer is a powerful form of prayer that involves actively placing yourself "in the gap" for others. The selfless prayer form produces incredible results in the Kingdom of God. This teaching will make you excited about intercessory prayer and challenge you to grow in it!
Thinking that perhaps VCF might be where God is calling you as your church home? If so, you're invited to Bruce and Lynn Latshaw's July Newcomer Kinship at their home starting Wednesday evening, July 8th, 7-8:30 PM. We'll spend the time getting to know each other, sharing together, learning from God's Word, and ministering to the prayer needs of the group. This group will meet July 8,15, 22, and 29th. All newcomers welcome, no matter what age or life situation. Childcare provided. For more info, call the VCF office or check out our web site.
The rumors are true! Jason is back and is running a special session of Camp Agape (along with Jenna!) in July. In this teaching Bruce introduces the new series on prayer, GodChat, using The Lord's Prayer as a model. He speaks of his personal journey in prayer and his understanding of "praying for connection" and "praying for consequence." He then speaks about a fundamental form of prayer, praise, which both connects us to God and produces powerful consequences in releasing God's kingdom resources.
Twoshirts is a place to connect the needs and wants of people with the generosity of the body of Christ. It is designed to be a community of gift-giving where people can freely give and receive all kinds of different things ranging from appliances, to clothing, to help and services. Generosity is the rule here! Its a place where we can live like the early Christians, sharing all things in common with each other; freely receiving and freely giving. Its easy to take part in this community, simply go to the webpage, sign up, and then subscribe to our group 'VCF at the Barn.'

Loving one another as God desires is only possible through the grace that God gives. Only as we receive his amazing grace can we grow to maturity and extend that grace to others. This teaching explores three aspects of God's grace that can help equip us to walk in love with one another.
