Barn School of the Spirit
Barn School of the Spirit
Vision
To equip followers of Jesus for Spirit-empowered life and ministry.
Mission
The mission of The Barn School of the Spirit is to provide biblical instruction and mentored equipping in how to live and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Goals
The School has two fundamental goals: first, to provide foundational discipleship training so believers will bear the fruit and live in the power of the Spirit; and second, to equip maturing believers to discover, learn about, and discharge their ministry appointments according the gifts and callings of God in their lives.
Means of Equipping
These two goals will be met through interactive classroom instruction, demonstration and participation clinics, real life ministry projects, and ongoing personal coaching.

The Barn School of the Spirit January-May, 2012: Classes, Seminars, and a One-Day Conferences
“We’re pleased to offer substantive equipping classes in “the things of the Spirit” coming up this winter and fall. We’ll begin with a foundation class on ‘How to Hear God’s Voice.’ This class will equip you with that most essential spiritual skill needed to move in supernatural ministry: how to hear and know what the Spirit is saying to us. All ministry flows from this place of intimacy with God, this relational connection that enables us to receive “real-time” direction from the Lord as to how to live our lives and do kingdom ministry.
We will also offer training in understanding “spiritual realities”–the capacities of our human spirits, how to separate soul and spirit, how to walk and ministry out of our spirits, how to discern “dark side” spiritual powers as they operate through those who traffic in the occult. On March 31st we’ll sponsor a One-Day Conference on Spiritual Realities with a speaker TBD. And we will conclude with classes on “Faith, Boldness, and Expanding the Kingdom.” The kingdom expands dramatically through breakthroughs of God’s power. In these classes we will explore the emerging stream in the Vineyard of “empowered evangelism,” a fresh demonstration of the power and prophetic evangelism popularized by John Wimber.
We’ll conclude our winter/spring session of the SOTS with a May 26th One-Day Conference on “Empowered Evangelism” with a to-be-announced guest “empowered evangelist” in the Vineyard. All offerings of the Barn SOTS are open to all Christians. Except for the one-day conferences, all classes and seminars are free unless otherwise announced, and except for materials. Contact us for more info. Except for conferences and half-day intensives, no childcare will be provided unless arranged beforehand through the office.”
