Kids of the Kingdom
Kids of the Kingdom
Our passion is to create an atmosphere that kids love and want to keep coming back to week after week! We desire to make children’s ministry on Sunday mornings one of the best experiences of a kid’s week. Our goal is to engage kids in creative and imaginative lessons so they learn a bunch and have fun doing it. We desire every child to come into a saving relationship with Jesus.
Our children’s ministry, called Kids of the Kingdom, holds the belief that each child is unique. Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans, “Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.” (Rom. 12:4-6) We must not try to place the children in a type-mold, for each one of the children has been created and gifted to perform different functions within the Body of Christ. We are called to help identify those giftings and to encourage and bless them as they each follow after the Lord and what He has for them. Kids of the Kingdom is committed to partnering with parents and guardians to teach, train, love and disciple the kids so they will grow into people who have a passion to live for Jesus.
We have over 25 volunteers who help make this ministry all that it is. If you have questions about our kids ministry or want to get involved, contact our Children’s Pastor, Jonathan Latshaw.
