Vision:
Yup. That's right. You feel it too. It's time. It's time for an awakening. It's time to put some meaning back into this busy, hectic life. To find out what God wants. Let's go back to the beginning. The beginning of time. When God planned something Great. His plan was to make a new creation that would know Him. Now Fast Forward. Past the serpent. Past the great flood. Past the longing for a Savior. He came. He died. He lives. All for you and me. Keep going. Fast forward past all the shattered dreams, the empty promises, the forgotten truths. Past all the responsibilities and wayward distractions. Press on past the screaming demands of everyday life. Faster and faster. Stop.
In the silence of the present, we are all confronted with our lives. We all ask ourselves the questions. Am I making a difference? Am I really living the life God wants, or am I limping along desperately trying to stay in from of the darkness that threatens to cover my way? We all long for one thing: to be free. To run with abandon, following our creative and living God. To experience an awakening that not only captures our hearts but the heart of a generation.
At this Gathering, we expect God to speak. Every person longs for adventure, to press past the everyday routine and truly experience life. We are calling all people of all ages to gather together to seek God for this adventure. This is your time to set aside all distractions and find out who God really is and how you can follow him. This is your moment. God is waiting...

Concert:
We got some cool news -- for the third year in a row The Look Machine will be playing a late night concert at the conference! This year they will be playing Friday night a little while after the main session is ended. These guys have gotten better and better each year and you'll love this free concert. The lead singer, Jason Latshaw, has written some of the most popular gate called Beautiful songs, including New Day and Lord's Prayer, and he rocks as the lead singer. gate called Beautiful's very own bassist, Drew Copeland, has recently joined the band and rocks out as well. The band is rounded out by three brothers, all with the last name Palkovitz -- they are kind of cool and rock just a little (too pretty if you ask me). If you want to hear a sample of their music, or just to check out what they are into, go to their website at www.thelookmachine.com -- it rocks!
